Schools In North Yorkshire Set To Recieve £7,000,000 In Funding

Schools in North Yorkshire are set to see an extra £7,000,000 of investment from the government.
The move is in a bid to correct what has been claaed an "unfair system".
The government is now ensuring that it is changing the way that schools get money with each pupil now getting £97 more invested into them.
The county Council is very pleased with the extra money and has said it is welcome, as it is the first increase schools in North Yorkshire have seen in four years.
Minster FM spoke to councillor Arthur Barker, who said the funding was greatly needed in North Yorkshire:
