Our Council Tax Bills WILL go up
6:26pm 2nd February 2010
It's now official.
North Yorkshire County Council's approved recommendations for our council tax bills to go up.
It's a hike of two-point-nine-four per cent, which is just over £30 more a year for an average Band D property.
We're told the extensive damage caused to the roads during the big freeze is a contributing factor.
The proposals will now be considered by the council’s Executive next Tuesday and by the full County Council on February 17th.
