“Last year we had a great time and showed how we are pulling together as a team for the whole area. Come and join us for a fun event to celebrate Pancake Day, and find out what Acomb shops have to offer. I’d like to thank the council who have helped with permissions for the event to take place, and I hope that people come along to either watch, or join in. I know that some teams have already been in training, so there is a bit of competition already, and there are individual heats for those who want to show off their athletic abilities! ”
The event is about promoting the Front Street area and shows that the shops are drawing together to put on events to attract people into the area. It is the first of several events to take place in Front Street this year and we are looking forward to the rest of 2014.
