York Man Drink Drive Sentencing

A York man's been sentenced after admitting driving while almost four times over the drink drive limit.
Nicholas Scherer was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison - suspended for 12 months - and disqualified from driving for 30 months.
The 25 year old was stopped by police on Gale Lane in Acomb the Saturday before Christmas.
He admitted drink driving and also driving without a licence or insurance last month.
