CCTV Released of Man Suspected of Touching Himself in York

Police are appealing for help to identify a man they would like to speak to in connection with incidents in the Micklegate, Whip ma Whop Ma Gate and Bar Lane area of York.

Between 8am and 8.30am on Wednesday 22 January 2014, police received reports of a man touching himself in an inappropriate manner.  

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and to anyone who recognises the man from the CCTV image to contact them.

PC Cheryl Hunter of York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “This is a very worrying incident which upset the people who witnessed it. It is important that we identify the man as soon as possible so we can speak to him about the matter.”
