People in Malton have been rallying round after playgrounds at two schools were damaged over the weekend.
Extensive damaged was caused to play equipment, sheds, picnic benches and guttering in the playgrounds at the back of Malton Primary School and St Mary’s Roman Catholic Primary School on Highfield Road in Malton.
Malton Primary's Deputy Head Alex Reppold tells Minster FM, they have had lots of offers to help.
Police continue to appeal for anyone who has any information about the incident, which is believed to have taken place overnight between Saturday 25 January into Sunday 26 January, to contact them.
