Malton Police Ask for Information After Amotherby Trailer Theft

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information after a trailer was stolen from the site of a disused reservoir in Amotherby, near Malton.

Thieves entered the site sometime between 10am on Wednesday 8 January 2014  and 9am on Wednesday 22 January 2014 and took the trailer and a topper dinghy.

Officers are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, they are appealing for information about anyone seen acting suspiciously in the area over the past week.

It is possible the offenders may have taken the items believing they had been dumped, if this is the case and the items are returned no further police action will be taken
