Illegal hunting in York
5:51am 28th January 2010
Illegal poaching on an area of land in York, known locally as Hob Moor Triangle, is now being investigated by police.
Since the stretch was cleared of overgrown vegetation residents are concerned about gangs congregating there.
Reports of people seen with dogs, ferrets, nets and on one occasion even a gun have been made to local Councillor James Alexander.
North Yorkshire Police are now loking into the reports.
