£600 Shop Window Smashed in Selby

Selby police are appealing for witnesses following an act of criminal damage in the town.

A window at the Wilkinsons store on Abbey Walk, was broken between 6.30pm on Saturday 18 January and 9.30am on Sunday 19 January 2014.

The 2m by 1m window is valued at £600.

PC Lee Smith, of Selby Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you witnessed the damage taking place or can help to identify the person responsible, I ask you to contact the police straight away.”
