A £1.3 billion compensation fund for customers affected by the mis-selling scandal at York based CPP has been approved by the High Court.
Customers who were mis-sold insurance protection against identity theft and card fraud will be able to claim a full refund with eight percent interest from the firm from the end of the month, when the scheme is registered at Companies House..
CPP was fined £10.5 million by financial regulators over the scandal in November 2012.
A CPP spokesperson said earlier this month: “Our priority is to achieve the best outcome for customers affected by historic issues and ensure customers receive a fair and high quality end-to-end service."
Affected customers should already have received letters from CPP but can also visit a special website or call 08000 83 43 93 for advice.
