Hambleton District Council Helps Recycle Christmas Trees

9:19am 12th January 2014
(Updated 10:21am 12th January 2014)

What do you do with that authentic Christmas tree?

It won't keep until next year, and the glorious smell of fresh pine is starting to fade.

If you're in and around Easingwold, and haven't already disposed of your old Christmas tree, you're in luck; as Hambleton District Council's special green collection week starts tomorrow.

The only requirement recommended by the council is that the tree is chopped up and put in the green wheelie bin, with the lid closed.

The council say alternate green bin collections will start again as normal on the week commencing February 24.
