Racist Graffiti Painted On House In Norton

Police are appealing for witnesses after abusive graffiti was sprayed onto a house in Norton.

Officers say that sometime between 11am on 26 December 2013 and 11.15am on 3 January 2014, vandals targeted an unoccupied property on Eastfield Avenue and spray painted a racially offensive word onto the wall.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or knows who is responsible to contact them with information.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 - select option 2 - and ask for PC Kay Campbell.
