More cash to help children in care in York.
That's what the council's Children and Young People's Service is considering, as they evaluate their budget for the next financial year.
Due to the number of kids needing a foster family the department's struggling to cope financially.
Their debt was a the key part of the authority's 15 million pound deficit.
Councillor Carol Runciman says they're looking to invest an extra £1.5 million from April.
