Easingwold Police Investigate After 100 Geese Stolen From Farm

Police are investigating after a gaggle of Christmas geese was stolen from a farm in North Yorkshire.
More than 100 birds were stolen from the farm in the Flawith area sometime overnight between Saturday 7 December and Sunday 8 December 2013.
The total value of the stolen geese is £17,600.
Officers are appealing to anyone who has been offered a large number of geese for sale recently to contact them with information.
You are also urge to get in touch if you saw any suspicious people or vehicles in the area around the time of theft.
Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for PC Steve Banks or Easingwold police.
