Selby police are appealing for information following a burglary and theft near the town.

It was reported on Wednesday 13 November 2013, from an outbuilding of a house on Hirst Road, Chapel Haddlesey, although the theft may have occurred since the beginning of October 2013.

The thieves stole a green Kawasaki KX80 Big Wheel off-road motorbike, which does not have a registration plate.

PC Richard Wood, of Selby Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you have seen the motorcycle since it was stolen, I ask that you come forward and contact the police straight away.”

Anyone with information which could assist this investigation should contact Selby police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Richard Wood. You can also email richard.wood@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.

If you would prefer to remain anonymous, information can be passed to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
