It's hoped a better website could bring more tourists to Ryedale.
Ryedale District Council has continued its digital drive to boost tourism in the district, with the launch of a new optimised website to suit any device.
Separate pages have been set up for Malton, Norton, Pickering, Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside to attract more people to visit the towns.
The website can also be used on mobile phones or tablets.
Included on the site are details of more than 400 tourism partners, ranging from shopping and outdoor activities to upcoming events and food and drink, as well as an easy-to-use search function for things to do, eating out and booking accommodation.
It is estimated tourism brings £251-million to the district and provides almost 6-thousand jobs.
Cllr Linda Cowling, Leader of Ryedale District Council, said: “So many visitors to Ryedale and local people use the internet to check out what is happening and where to go in the local area.
“Ryedale has so much to offer and this is a great way to ensure that all this can be accessed wherever and whenever.”
