At around 5pm on Saturday 2 November 2013, a black Nissan Navaro, which was towing a trailer full of cattle, collided with a blue Ford Fiesta on the A64 at Towthorpe crossroads.

The Nissan was travelling along Towthorpe Moor Lane and the Fiesta was heading along the A64 towards Malton.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage in the collision.

A 77-year-old man, who was a passenger in the Fiesta, was taken to York Hospital with minor injuries sustained in the collision.
