Malton Police Urge Burglary Victims to Come Forward After Arrests

Malton police are appealing for burglary victims to come forward following the arrest of three men by officers working on Operation Hawk.
The men aged 28, 41 and 43, were arrested in Norton, Malton, on Wednesday 23 October 2013, on suspicion of burglary.
The arrests follow the report of a Ford Mondeo seen acting in a suspicious manner in the Norton area at 6pm on Wednesday 23 October 2013.
Officers recovered property from the suspects vehicle which they believe may have been stolen.
They are appealing for anyone in the Ryedale or Scarborough area who has suffered a burglary recently and has not yet reported it to the police, to come forward.

The 28-year-old, who is of no fixed address, was arrested at 6.30pm. The other two men, both from the Barnsley area of West Yorkshire, were arrested shortly after 8pm, following a search of the area, assisted by a police helicopter.
All three men have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
