Aid workers in North Yorkshire run out of cash

Aid workers in North Yorkshire run out of cash

5:50am 14th January 2010

British rescue teams are flying to Haiti to help victims of the devastating earthquake.

Tens of thousands of people are feared dead and many more are in need of aid.

However aid workers from the international rescue corps in North Yorkshire are  unable to help out on this occasion.

As a result of so many disasters in the last year including the Cumbria floods and earthquakes in Indonesia, the charity's running short on cash.
