Hygiene in North Yorkshire's school canteens under scrutiny

There's angry parents in North Yorkshire as 27 schools are named and shamed for failing hygiene inspections.

Minster FM have used the Freedom of Information Act to find out which schools haven't hit the mark.

The schools failed to achieve at least a 70 point rating in one of the following four areas:

1) Health and safety
2) Temperature control and storage
3) Preparation and Service of food
4) Premises conditions

The schools are inspected each term.

The schools that failed to hit the mark are as follows:
