Find Out Where Your Favourite Shop Will Go in Monks Cross Shake Up

Changes to stores in the redevelopment at Monks Cross are being discussed today.

Laura Ashley, Sports Direct and M&S will be knocked into one mega store which will house York's long awaited Primark.

Debenhams will move into a new store created by merging WHSmiths and Outfit.

Clarks will be split in two to give them a new store and provide space for either WHSmiths or Sports Direct.

Monks Cross tell Minster FM the line up isn't finalised yet, but according to documents put into planners at the city council at the moment it looks like:

  •  American Golf - No change

  • Argos Extra - No change

  • BHS Homestore - No change

  • Blacks - No change

  • Boots The Chemist - No change

  • Café Gio - No change

  • Carphone Warehouse - No change

  • Clarks - Being split in two to create newer smaller store

  • Clinton Cards - No change

  • Debenhams - Moving to new bigger store created by merging WHSmiths and Outfit

  • Evans Plus Size Clothing - City council documents say moving out but Monks Cross say this is not decided yet

  • Evans Cycles - No change

  • Game - No change

  • H&M - No change

  • Hobbycraft - No change

  • Laura Ashley - Moving to Julia Avenue site

  • McDonald's - No change

  • Marks & Spencer - Moving to new Oakgate scheme

  • M & S Espresso Bar - Moving to new Oakgate scheme

  • M & S Simply Food - Moving to new Oakgate scheme

  • Miss Selfridge - City council documents say moving out but Monks Cross say this is not decided yet

  • Monsoon Accessorize - No change

  • New Look - No change

  • Next - Moving to new Oakgate scheme

  • Outfit - No change

  • Primark - Moving into space where Laura Ashley, Sports Direct and M&S are now
