At some time between 8pm on Friday evening and 6pm on Saturday, there has been an attempted burglary at two neighbouring residential premises in Airmyn.  Offenders have tried to gain entry via the conservatory of the first house, the lock of which is damaged as a result.  A plate at the bottom of the door was also broken. The second house had its front uPVC door lock barrel damaged. No access to either premise was gained.  Again, please remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour or individuals to the police.

Between 2am and 7am on Saturday , a house in Howden was entered via an open downstairs window.  A silver V registered Ford Focus was taken from the address with keys that had been located within the garage of the premises. Log 198 of 3/8 refers.  At this time, the vehicle remains outstanding. It is very hot at the moment, but please remember to close all windows (particularly downstairs ones) when you go to bed on a night if you are able to.
