Two Arrested by Police Investigating York Car Break-In

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of theft after a car was broken into in York.
Officers were alerted by a member of the public at around 7pm on Sunday 14 July 2013, after she saw two men break the driver’s side window of a BMW 7 series near Skeldergate Bridge and take a laptop from inside.
A short time later, officers arrested the two men, aged 45 and 52, on Fetter Lane.
They remain in police custody as enquiries into the incident continue.
Motorists are reminded not to leave any valuable on view when leaving their vehicles unattended.
