Police Called To Disturbance At York Minster

North Yorkshire Police were called to York Minster yesterday following reports of an assault.
Officers were called at around 10am on Sunday 7 July 2013, following reports of an assault at York Minster.
It is alleged a man tried to gain access to an ongoing service and assaulted two members of staff when he was refused entry.
The man, aged 42 and of no fixed address, is currently in police custody as enquiries into the incident continue.
The staff members were not seriously injured in the incident.
