East Riding Schools Are Improving

8:44am 28th June 2013

Ofsted has written to East Riding of Yorkshire council after a "focused" inspection last month.

It looked at schools across the county because the number of kids going to a good or better school was below the national average.

More than a third of them have improved since their last inspection and none of them has been placed in categories of concern.

But Ofsted says "much more" needs to be done to to achieve "sustained school improvement" across the county.
