Car Crime Spree In Pocklington - Police Believe Drunks Responsible

Police at Pocklington are investigating seven criminal damage offences which were committed on Union Street, Pocklington on the 14th to 15th June 2013. Humberside Police say they believe that drunks may have been responsible for the damage.
Wing mirrors and windscreen wipers were damaged on seven vehicles on Union Street and police are currently making enquiries in the area and checking for possible CCTV in a bid to catch the offender(s).
"These offences are completely mindless and have caused considerable inconvenience and distress to the vehicle owners involved", said Sergeant Pete Rogers of the Pocklington Neighbourhood Policing Team. "We would ask anyone with information in respect of these offences to contact Humberside Police on 101, quoting log 190 of 15th June."
