CASH BOOST FOR LOCAL NHS TRUST
A North Yorkshire family's raised thousands of pounds to help fund research and support adults with brain tumours.
Bernard Lowther, from Kirby Sigston near Northallerton, died after fighting a brain tumour for years.
Donations at his funeral and from organised events have raised just over £4000.
The money's been given to neurosciences at South Tees NHS Trust.
