How you can help save FM!

As you probably know Minster FM proudly broadcasts to this area on the FM frequency 104.7, and had been hoping to for many years to come.

However, recent developments mean that we may not be able to broadcast in this way for much longer.

In fact, the current plan from parliament is to switch off the use of FM for many stations in 2015.

That means, soon, you may not be able to listen to us on FM.

Below you will see some links to the Government run website yourfreedom.hmg.gov.uk. It is a site set up that "gives you the chance to tell (the Government) which laws and regulations you think we should get rid of"

Please look at the links below and feel free to have your say as directed on the site.

• Do not switch off FM and force people to use the inferior DAB service
• Rescind the discontinuance of FM/AM radio
