A19 both ways closed, delays expected due to major roadworks between A63 / A1238 and York Road. A63 Hull Road is also closed at the junction. Work to change the junction to a roundabout. On the diversion route there are three temporary pedestrian crossings through the village, each with a set of temporary traffic lights. Until 24th May.

Following a landslip on 11th February, an hourly replacement bus service runs, extending journey times by up to an hour. Disruption could be ongoing until September. Also affecting Northern Rail.

Following a landslip on 11th February, some trains are diverted, not stopping at Goole. Buses replace trains between Doncaster and Goole/Scunthorpe. Disruption could be ongoing until September. Narrow lanes and speed restriction of 50 mph due to roadworks on M62 both ways between J25 A644 (Brighouse) and J30 A642 (Rothwell). Long-term work to upgrade this section of the M62 to a 'managed motorway'. Mandatory electronic speed limit signs are now in use between J27 and J28.
