Open evening for men who can sing.
Spirit of Harmony, one of the UK's top Barbershop Choruses, will be holding an open rehearsal evening. Men of all ages who would like to sing acapella 4-part harmony will be very welcome to come and listen or join in. Ladies who are looking for a rewarding pass-time for the man in their lives will also be warmly welcomed.

Drop-in for people living with aphasia
On the first and third Thursday of each month, the charity Connect hosts a drop-in for people with aphasia, the communication disability that often occurs after stroke. Sessions are free. Drop-in is run by people who have aphasia and who know what it's like. Come along to chat, meet new people - and just be yourself. Partners / carers welcome as well.

Sing A Song of Sixpence family panto
Riccallish Allsorts present our 2017 family pantomime 'Sing A Song of Sixpence' by Norman Robbins. Tickets now on sale from the Riccall Regen Centre (weekdays only).
Performances Thursday 2nd to Saturday 4th February at 19.30 pm. Saturday Matinee commences 14.30 pm.
Tickets £7 adult £3.50 child.
Tickets are starting to fly so don't leave it too late.

Sing a Song of Sixpence is a pantomime on conventional lines with a dame, wicked witch, good fairy, haunted bedroom, and knockabout scenes. Norman Robbins's story ingeniously incorporates all the elements of the titular nursery rhyme into a wittily updated fairy tale.

St Leonard's Hospice Ceilidh
Back by popular demand, our next Selby Ceilidh featuring The Jelly Bean Band will be on Friday 3rd February at Drax Sports & Social Club. Doors open at 7.30pm and dancing will start at 8pm.

It will be a fantastic evening of music and dancing, so get your dancing shoes on and join us. Don't worry if you've never been to a Ceilidh before, there will be a caller on hand to guide you through the steps!

Tickets are just £10 including a light supper, with a vegetarian option available. There will also be a raffle and games throughout the evening. All proceeds go towards the running of the hospice.

Gin Masterclass with Afternoon Tea
Pairing two of life’s simple joys – gin and good food – this superb two-part experience is perfect for whiling away an indulgent afternoon together. Just a stone’s throw from the historic city centre, The Grange offers a luxurious base to enjoy your experience.

You’ll kick things off with a masterclass and tasting courtesy of local gin experts, Still & Heart. Highly personal, Still & Heart offer bespoke experiences to help the ‘gin curious’ learn and discover more about their favourite drink. Gin cocktail in hand, you’ll be guided through a number of different gins, garnishes and mixers. Along the way, you’ll learn a little about Britain’s complicated relationship with the famous juniper infused spirit.
