New Earswick Nature Reserve Open Day
The first Open Day of 2017, our annual ‘Bird Open Day’, will be held on Saturday 25 February at New Earswick Nature Reserve, off Alder Way, from 9.00pm until 16.00pm.

This is an opportunity to find out more about the work of the BTO, especially bird ringing, under the watchful eyes of Paul Thorpe and Ian Nicholson. Both are ‘licenced ringers’ and work all over Yorkshire surveying species and providing data towards the BTO’s annual surveys.

Find out more about the techniques used, see birds close up and find out more about this fascinating subject.
